1. Introduction

At Plato Health, healthcare professionals work together with engineers and technicians towards a common goal: to develop care.
For us at Plato Health, you as an individual and patient always come first and this privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes our handling of your personal data in connection with you seeking care from us or using one of our services (“Services”).

In the Privacy Policy, we explain in more detail how Plato Health works for you as a user and patient and who is responsible for the personal data processing that takes place in connection with your use of the Services. We also describe which personal data about you is processed when you use the Services, how we process the personal data and why. We also describe which legal support justifies the processing in question and which third parties may handle personal data about you in order for us to be able to provide the Services. You also receive information about your rights regarding the processing of your personal data and how you can proceed to exercise these rights.

2. Who is responsible for personal data processing?

It is Sensiv Pvt. Ltd., registration number 556967-0820 (“Sensiv”), the parent company of the Plato Health, which owns and provides the technical platform and application Plato (“the App”) and which is responsible for the processing of the personal data you register in the App, until you have initiated contact with the Caregiver (defined below) for assessment, treatment and follow-up.

When you seek care from Plato Health, it is the Care Provider who is responsible for the performance of the health care, including the processing of personal data that takes place in connection with your use of the Services.

In practice, this means that as soon as you start handing over information about your health (for example, by filling in forms before an appointment) or making choices regarding your treatment (for example, registering with the Care Provider), the responsibility for your personal data passes to the Care Provider.

In Bangladesh, it is Sensiv’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Plato Health, organization number 556665-8364 (“The Care Provider”), which provides the care within the Services, unless otherwise clearly communicated to you in the App in connection with your use of the Services. In relation to personal data processing that takes place in connection with your care, the Caregiver acts as the personal data controller.

Plato Health, as a provider of the platform and related services, acts as a personal data processor for the processing of personal data that occurs in connection with your care.

This includes, for example, treatment in connection with operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, support in the Care Provider’s work with quality assurance and improvement of care services, as well as in the Care Provider’s work with regulatory compliance and information security.

In its role as personal data processor, Plato Health therefore only processes your personal data on the instructions of the Caregiver.

In the event that another healthcare provider joins the Plato platform and thereby processes your personal data in connection with your use of the Services, we will inform you before you use the Services so that you always know who is the healthcare provider responsible for personal data.
